Hiking Mount Ugo in the Philippines

There's so much to do in the cities outside Metro Manila, so we decided to do a little travel-y video and take you up Mt. Ugo. It's really near Baguio, making it a good spot for overnight or weekend trips out of town.
Mt. Ugo is quite a challenging hike, so be prepared. What are the other mountains we should climb? Comment below!

I grew up there.wow its a paradize place.Back then we plant sweet potato and mustard in there and from the top view you can see part of baguio and nueva viscaya. Tas meron din kaming malinis na river maraming mini water falls. Glad you visit where I grew up.

Such a great video, Erwan. Very informative and love the drone shots. I've only hiked up Mt. Gulugod Baboy which is in Anilao, Batangas. Mt. Ugo is definitely a more challenging hike. Can't wait for the next one.

I love hiking/mountain climbing during my younger days but now my body, particularly my knee won't let me do it anymore. Thankful for taking us to your trip and letting me (in effect) experience it again! You make it look so easy but I know it's not! But really, the hike/climb is enjoyable and fun at the same time.

Already went to Pulag last feb and last week in Ulap.. Mt. Ugo was in between the two and I really got eyes on this mountain.. Thanks erwan for this informative vlog.. You may wanna try Mt. Purgatory, i heard that everything's uphill, good cardio exercise 😊

You should climb Mount Pulag or Mount Ulap in Luzon as well and then I hope you can also climb Mt. Guiting-Guiting or G2 in Sibuyan Island, Romblon sometime soon and show us the majesty of Mayo's Peak and G2's Knife-Edge ridge and the ensuing beautiful rock formations with colorful names like "Kiss The Wall". There's also Mt. Halcon in Oriental Mindoro or maybe Mounts Iglit-Baco National Park in Occidental Mindoro and show us some tamaraws in the wild. Mounts Iglit-Baco National Park is also an ASEAN Heritage Park and a beautiful sanctuary for Philippine Tamaraws. If you want to climb some mountains in Mindanao, of course there's Mt. Apo in Davao, Mt. Kitanglad in Bukidnon & Mt. Parker locally known as Mt. Melibengoy in South Cotabato. Mt Parker/Mt. Melibengoy is a stratovolcano with a beautiful caldera or crater lake known as Lake Holon. Man, your viewers would really appreciate if you could show us the beauty of Lake Holon! It's absolutely amazing out there and you can also feature the T'nalak Dream Weavers of the T'boli tribes because it's their home!:-)
