DOT should just hire serious film makers like Erwan, Daniel Marsh, Finn and stop wasting money on ad companies that produce the amateurish Love Philippines promotion that any high school student can create.

But these content creators earn more by doing their own stuff without unnecessary regulation and ‘restrictions’ from a government agency. I’m sure we’d be happier they don’t get hired by any government institution. DOT can, however, provide support and protection to these teams and their outputs. Award them rights to put materials out there for everyone’s consumption as long as IP is kept.

If I’m not mistaken Erwan partnered with DOT already on a tourism campaign of some sort but not sure how that turned out. I would assume FEATR would be open again to the idea assuming Erwan has creative freedom on the project and there is sufficient budget. However, if DOT is cost cutting, I’m always available. I’m like the Temu FEATR. 😂
