The Fubuki probably launched her torps before Reyte even made his approach. To call that a "stolen" kraken is simply ridiculous.

WG have been nerfing the exp and credits of CVs ever since the Big Bang.

Yes CV's get the shaft when it comes to exp. for damage done or spotting, (so much for the patch) Thanks for the video

1) his dots stopped before Tirp and Shoko died, so it WAS Fubuki, who killed them with flooding. 2) Shoko used AA, but only a second too late - drop zone changed, but torps went straight ahead.

@Catcrumbs8 жыл бұрын
You can see that he didn't use Zulu (+20% credit earning) because there is no 'Modifiers' heading on the credits screen. He may have used the repair costs flag, but that's only worth 7500 credits at T8. Also, you missed that the Fubuki was awarded the kill for the Amagi as well, making it a total of three ships which Reyte worked hard on but the kills were awarded to the Fubuki (not that I think the Fubuki did anything wrong).

I understand being salty about the Fubuki, the Fubuki got the kills on the Amagi, Tirpitz, and Shokaku that all would have died to Reyte's floods. Would have gotten a Kraken if not for the Fubuki securing those kills

Having a good CV captain is like have a good goalkeeper, its an invaluable advantage for the team. Playing mostly DD's there's nothing worse than a good enemy CV capt.

The xp thing isn't new with 0.5.12. I have a 240k game in Lexington (3 ship kills, no plane kills, but 3 quite major base resets) from July 7th: 2181 base XP. CV xp has been shafted since 0.5.2 I believe.

Fubuki didn't see the squadron because he approached from his rear and the side of the fubuki's own team , DD probs never even saw the torp planes coming, if he saw them at the start he most have thought they moved on or were waiting to strike another target, sometimes I leave my planes close to DDs and pretend I forgot about it, when DD feels confortable and starts doing other things, then I strike

How is he keeping all of his Squadrons selected but sends them to different places. Is this a replay bug?
@Aerroon8 жыл бұрын
I'm the one that's selecting the squadrons so you can see the orders he gives to all the squadrons. CV Replays are really laggy (the interface lags behind what happens), so I don't want to show that.

1) Wow, that is awful for the poor CV to get that little baseXP. Stupid WG beating CVs to death with the nerf-bat. 2) I'm honestly more interested in how the Dunkerque on the Shokaku's team got only 5 xp on a win. Seriously, how?

To get that little XP you need to leave the game before you die and before the game ends.

CV pay is pretty harsh right now Stock Ranger with 150k damage, 6 ship kills, 30 plane kills, Kraken/High Caliber/Confederate on a loss Walked away with 1300 base xp and 150k credits (no premium) only because a Scharn found and killed me at the end of the match
@Ermy19968 жыл бұрын
i did a kracken loss 190k damage (shokaku) and survived. lost. -5000 credits........OK
@KevinBurger8 жыл бұрын
I wonder if WG seems to want CVs to be spotters, because in my stock Ranger, I've been doing considerably less damage, and fewer kills all around than that, but lots of spotting damage, and getting similar xp and credits. I almost want to choose the fighter load out, and do nothing but spotting, and see what the credits and xp are.
@Ermy19968 жыл бұрын

Hmm, then I'm back to my current theory which is cv credits and xp is determined by rng at the end of the game, ha ha.

Kevin Burger bad rng tho, my friend and i won a game, i had 100k damage he had 15 (in a battleship tho) and still he made more credits than me. sad, just sad.
@Orangefan778 жыл бұрын
Seems like he should have gotten 6 kills, except for the ... um... "teamwork" from the Fubuki. I do understand the Fubuki out for his own score, but... all 3 of those were still taking damage from floods or fires when the Fubuki killed them.
@dublish8 жыл бұрын
Just to play devil's advocate here, Fubuki looks like she launched torps at Tirpitz/Shokaku about the same time Reyte did. No guarantee Shokaku doesn't use damage control either.
@Orangefan778 жыл бұрын
I agree, but... wait til the fires or floods go out, since you can see it. However, it is most important to ensure the enemies are sunk. So...
@aureliengoerlinger8 жыл бұрын
fubuki hit both of them when they were above 10k hp and there was a chance they would repair the flooding... i don't think this could be considered as kill steals because i don't think reyte would have killed both of them without attacking again
@RagingAura8 жыл бұрын
It's a good game, and very high damage; but that isn't the only metric for measuring good play. The enemy CV was completely incompetent, the enemy team was largely battleships (large HP pool, and flooding and fire cause proportional damage), and he got the most amazing RNG with bomber strikes, fires, and not losing his planes to AA. I think we all have had CV games like that. I recall a very high damage game in my Shokaku in which 97k out of over 200k+ damage came from one tirpitz. In the same game, 2 other battleships died in a similar fashion to flooding from my airdropped torps. It came out to a massive damage total, but rather small exp value, for good reason. I had basically only killed 3 ships; same as if I had killed 3 destroyers. Air defense and dd/torpedo spotting is als very important, and until recently, wasn't rewarded. You will see that this CV player would often let torpedo bombers get their drops off on his teammates. Thankfully, every torpedo missed because the enemy CV is again, incompetent, but this player only shoots down torpedo bombers when it's convenient, generally after they drop. tl;dr This is the ultimate damage farm, and most of us probably have games similar to this, if not as high a number.

"One of the best in the world"? Are you serious? The dude is playing against a Shokaku who has no idea wtf he's doing, and is constantly bombing and torping slow moving battleships that dont even attempt to evade his bombs/torps - of course he's going to cash in on the damage throughout the match.

As a CV main I enjoyed watching and learning from this match. However I really disliked listening to you because you are very critical of others. Some people are casual players and some don't follow your playstyle (what you would do). It's very easy to criticize others when you are spectating. And Fubuki played much of the match as the focus of the enemy CV. As good as Reyte was, a 400XP difference is not enough to say he alone carried the whole game, that Fubuki was contributing a close amount.
