In 2019 there was a radio interview with the creator and some participants of the series. From the interview it didn't seem like anything is canceled and further filming is in plans. Probably corona pandemic happened, hopefully they are still planning an update. To get to the interview search internet for: 702 Azania Mosaka speaks to Angus Gibson and the subjects of his 1992 documentary series '7Up'

After all the years, we have become so familiar with all the characters and it's difficult to watch when they experience difficulties, but so many are doing well and have gained insight and wisdom and are so hard-working. We really hope it goes well with each and every person. Don't give up!! *Is there a way to contact some of the people who are currently going through difficulties to offer support and assistance? Like the pastor and his wife with the 2 little girls?

He is so weak. Life has brought him to his knees, he's in submission mode right now. A man is supposed to be a leader, a real man has direction, is ambitious, has goals and makes them happen. Not defending African politicians but I think we should note that Apartheid states were built to function for a homogenous minority population and expanding/transforming that same country for a larger more diverse population, eleven tribes plus is going to be difficult. If you look at all former colonies they go through that very same challenge so its a very steep learning curve .

Amazing,,, they sing about God and yet fail to respect his main creation... No respect for anything related to black. YAH created the day and the Night 🌙 he respected them as unique and for a purpose. Black is not a race. We are Hebrews, they are Boers. Yah is our Great Nzambi,,, they are pagans with a gospel that they created full of their own created imaginations. Now they want to dominate Our People in their Own Land... What disrespect!! Send them out of Our Land,,, every last one of them is to be removed from Our Land.
