I so wished I had thought to use KZbin back when my son had his first one. I was so scared. I had never heard of it and no one I knew had been through it with their children. I’m so glad this is on here now!

My daughter had 2 of them when she was 2, none after that. My son just turned 2 and had one 2 days ago. Still freaked me out.

My toddler had a seizure just yesterday for the first time. It was so scary. Her lips turned blue and was unconscious. My husband did a mouth to mouth cpr because she was not breathing we were panicking, we thought that maybe she had a hard time breathing because she ate something and was choked. So after the cpr she vomited and we immediately went to the hospital. In the hospital she had a seizure again and luckily the nurses and doctor were able to see it. My question is if my daughter has epilepsy or it was a febrile seizure since she had seizures for 2 times.

This happened to my 2 year old last sat morn,he turned blue too and I gave him cpr aswell,it happened twice in one day and both times turned blue x

My daughter has been having them everytime she gets a fever now. It started when she had a really high fever when she had an ear infection. Usually hours after the initial fever spike. I feel I need to try to do something or have her see a specialist.

Hiya for the information. Our 1 year old granddaughter had her 1st febrile convulsion on Sunday. But after 48hrs we noticed her walking wasn't right. She seemed very clumsy. Had loads of falls and now she is 3 days after the seizure. The consultant at the hospital isn't happy with her walking. So now has to have an mri in a week's time. Is this normal or unsustainable? I'm really worried

A convulsion or fit are they same thing - just different words that may be used for a seizure.

What happens if dr's believe my child had a febrile seizure but there was no fever. I mentioned how the nurse and paramedic said temp was normal but the dr just said it's caused by the illness not fever? 🤔🤷

My son convulses every night and during he deficates but after he comes back to his senses. I'm confused about what is happening.

Hi, i used to have this often when i was a baby to when to my early childhood. Im 19 now and the covif 19 vaccine we have here said that one side effect is convulsions. Is it possible that my convulsions will trigger again because of it?

My 21 month old daughter had a febrile seizure while she had a fever of 102.5f while she had a urinary tract infection. It was at 1am last night and my husband and I put her on her side on the bed and sat by her while she convulsed for about a minute and a half. She woke up right after the seizure but was very tired. 1 hour after, her fever went down to 101. We are over an hour from the nearest hospital but I called the health nurse in the nearest town (we are on a farm) and she was unable to see my daughter. As the hours went by, her fever continued to decrease. We never ended up taking her into the hospital as she was improving. Did we make a mistake? Should I be taking her in to the hospital tomorrow (it's now night again and she is sleeping and doesn't have a fever now)?

My 5yrs old daughter attack seizure again yesterday . She have a febrile seizure last dec. 2020 she diagnost about this seizure and every month or every after 2months she attack this seizure you think its normal ? Before she got seizure she was very strong you can't see to her sick then a mean while she attack seizure then after her seizure she got fever .

My son has had multiple seizures from December 2019 till now overall he had about 9 all of them lasting under 2min but someone told me to take out his tonsils
