FEBRUARY 23, 2023 OREGON LOGGING CONFERENCE IN EUGENE, OREGON LARGEST LOGGING EQUIPMENT SHOW (WEST)

Today we are at the 2023 Oregon Logging Conference in Eugene, Oregon. It is the largest logging equipment show west of the Mississippi. It opens from Thursday (02/23/2023) to Friday (02/24/2023) from 8 am to 5 pm and on Saturday (02/25/2023) from 9 am to 2pm. You do not want to miss it.

Great video, I was there on Thursday and haven’t missed it many times in 42yrs. I think most people would never believe what some of this equipment costs new, I cry every time I buy a used shovel or processor.

I’ve been attending this show for decades as well and I started to take my wife with me and she also enjoys it. it’s always very interesting to see the new equipments…and like you I also think prices are going through the roof. thank you for watching our video. We also have some videos of the CONEXPO 2023 in Las Vegas, you might like the videos as well…it’s a little different, more crowded but with very interesting and new equipment .

Man I wanna go so bad…I’m from eastern Ky and worked on strip mines and brother a 988 was one of the smallest pieces…lol..we used 1 with 10’ wands on our steam genies standin in the bucket all the way up and still couldn’t reach the higher parts of the boom on hitachi ex3500…done komastsu pc5500…830 trucks…793 cats…and was around p&h 2800 and Marion 8050 dragline but never got to spray on 1..I got in everything I could and tested em out and d11 always brings a smile….…💪🏻 thanks man..matt

Again Thank you for the complete walk through. The interesting thing about those excavators with long extensions on DIPPER. They become a YARDER for haul back CUT trees. So YARDER can be more versatile. Move around instead of being stationary like a standard big YARDER with all the cables run out and hooked to tree stump The bucket DIGS a base for the Dipper arm to make the Dipper arm more firm in the ground. Great NEW ideas in Logging.

Thank you for taking me to this beautiful fair. However, I noticed in the specs at 2min54sec that probably 2 dimensions were swapped. The weight and the breakout force. I can not imagine that the small loader weighs about 8000 lbs which would be about 4 tons. 4 ton breakeout force i can imagine. what do you think about it ?

Thank you for the great Narrative and walk around. The CAB on the big (JD) Log loader you got in. Just FYI the cab also TILTS for transport on Low boy trailer. Because of Hight issues on maybe a Low bridge overpass that trailer has to go under. Not being (DOT) High Highway Requirements. Or just getting Cab all up in Tree branches on the way to the Logging area. The CAB might get all messed up with branches. I would HATE to have my window BROKEN on that brand NEW baby before she even lifts one HUGE Log.
