I am sorry for your loss, I had a Aunt Like that, My Aunt Rose she was only 10 years older than me, So she was more like a sister , When I was in my 20's, she and I did everything together, she too was a Godly woman , she passed in 2005, and I miss her talks very badly. She was the only person who I felt like I could trust. and. not only do I miss her, I really miss that, Because I have a very hard time trusting anyone . (Except God.) Back in the early 90's, I worked in ICU at a hospital. We had a patient who had a wreck and was in the unit for months. His wife would make us this dessert and bring to us at work. I've been making it over 30 years. Love it. So sorry for ur loss.

So sorry for your loss. I had an aunt like that but she had no children. She worked in a factory making Levi pants but each summer I got to go spend the week with her. I had a great mother but this aunt was like a second Mom to me. She has been gone now for quite a few years. She would make the time I was there special and we always did a lot of cooking. Between her and my mother I like to think I turned out to be a pretty good cook. Have not been able to cook much for a while due to illness and the death of my husband of 56 years but hoping to get back into it. In fact tomorrow I am making a pot of vegetable beef soup. Adult son has been doing most of the cooking and he will be helping me tomorrow. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

I have made this recipe for a long time. My chocolate topping is different. I use milk, baking chocolate, butter, vanilla and 10x sugar. It is so good on top.

I love the Eclair cake, I make it for family events. A tip I heard on another channel, wish I could remember which one, but if you spray your meat chopper thingy with cooking spray and your meat won't stick. Especially the sausage.

So sorry to hear about your aunt. My mother-in-law makes a peanut butter version of the eclair cake. She adds peanut butter to the pudding mixture and uses chocolate graham crackers. It's delicious! But we are having a hard time finding chocolate graham crackers now.

Hi Leslie when you said you were making chocolate éclairs its not what I was expecting. You see in the United Kingdom they are made with choux pastry, piped intofour inch oblong shape then baked in the oven. When cool you would dip the tops in chocolate, leave to set cut open and fill with whipped cream. Sorry about your aunt, I am praying for you and all the family.xxx❤❤❤

I still have Covid and nothing tastes good right now. I'm only able to stand drinking water cause everything else tastes like I dumped the whole sugar bowl in whatever I try to drink even desserts so I'm not eating them right now.
