I was feeling the exact same way and I was worried I was going into a book slump too last week! I tried to get into every genre that I am normally interested in and it all just felt like reading (even if it was an objectively good book). I picked up a thriller (a genre I'm not usually the biggest fan of) yesterday and now I can feel myself coming out of it

I feel like you might like an education in malice by st gibson a bit more than dowry. the writing isn't as flowery/lyrical. of course I loved both very much, but I think you should maybe give it a chance? also I've been seeing the naturals around and was unsure if I should pick it up but you've now sold me on it! hopefully April is a good reading month too! maybe try rereading a short favorite to make you fall back in love with reading? can't wait for your video on Sunday! 🩷🤍🤎🩵
