The bite was on fire this warm February day. I show you guys me making the hair jig before heading out to catch beautiful Crappie one after another . The fish were moving up shallow on the cypress trees.

We catch the Hail out ‘O Crappies in the Spring in Texas! Bigun’s like those! 15 inches was the biggest last Spring. That Blue was talking to you! We can catch 25 per person here in North Texas but they have to be 10 inches to keep, no size or length on ‘Gills and you can catch any amount you want! You are gonna end up tying your special jigs full time Kendall! People are dying to get their hands on those type of Jigs!

@@kfred, Find a person who is home bound and teach them how to make them? I don’t think you can make a living tying jigs but it will be and probably is a good part time hobby. .......I like those fly rods or B&M (sp?) poles with a small spinning reel you use. Looks like it gives a lot of reach with not much casting. Nice string of fish you caught too.

Real good vedio...you pop that cork hard for February...up here you have to jerck a little softer and let it sit. Especially if you want the big girls to bite...and you have to use the white jig you make. Been fishing Sacalais for 40yrs now and your jigs are the best...hands down.
