Happy March! The experimentation in the Hobonichi Weeks continues paired with the Day-Free. Take a look at how my spreads are coming along and what I'm using the Day-Free for as a supplement to my techo. How did your planning go in February?

This is awesome. As much as I love the tidy neat planner content out there, it’s so nice and refreshing to see something that looks much closer to my own. Thinking it might be fun to share my own one day and support the genre, lol.

Also my handwriting takes on so many different personalities depending on the pen :)

Thank you and yasss! Appreciate the thoughts -I too looove a neat-looking Hobonichi but I work with what I’ve got: a shaky artist hand and never being satisfied with what I’m currently doing 😅 And uh, you totally should share (when you’re comfortable and ready)!

Oh thank you for sharing! Have subscribed as I find your style refreshing and I love seeing how fellow creatives/artists use planners and organise etc. Illustration plus Journals/Planners is the best combination 😉 Looking forward to checking out your other videos 😊

my handwriting also changes depending on the pen. I LOVE a fine tip....like i get refillable ballpoints so I can get the Parker Fine refills.....the .38 and .4 sizes are my favorites, specifically the uniball one and my all time fave at the moment is the Blen. Maybe try a fine point or extra fine nib? I have a kawaco fine and it still feels a bit heavy, just ordered an extra fine so i'll have to see. With gel pens I feel like my handwriting gets sloppy, maybe because the ink is so smooth? with the fountain pens it seems that I have to be a bit more intentional when writing so my handwriting is not as sloppy.

Oooooh maybe I should try a EF for my Kaweco as well … but yeah totallly feel that. I’ve been finding lately that my zebra Sarasa clips have been PERFECT for my Weeks!

Hey thanks! I do have the Weeks Mega, and for a month or two I was using the notes pages to track my spending, my art shows and vending events, and some journaling. The last month or so I’ve not kept up 😅 But we’ll see when I get back from my trip!
