I completely disagree with Senator Warren. There is nothing much the fed can do about oil prices and gas/food/shelter are necessities. The pain is global and the US is one of the best positioned countries to deal with climate change/climate inflation. I cant imagine another way to check asset bubbles in stocks/housing than higher interest rates.

THE FEDERAL RESERVE CREATED THIS INFLATION BY PRINTING ALL THIS FIAT/MONEY and why you ask as Jerome Powell admits he's going to put the economy in a recession to bring down inflation, and who caused the inflation, the federal reserve. they make money when the market is up and when the market is down, but not the regular people! once the people react to what is being done to them financially, while putting them out of work, because we know they want the robots, algorithms, and drones (4th industrial revolution) to replace the human in these service jobs, it doesn't matter if you are a doctor, lawyer, accountant, telemarketer, truck driver, delivery person, or nurse, you are going to be replaced, then the beast will come in with the solution, and that will be free crypto (UBI/free money) surveillance to boost the economy again, and tell you when, where, how, and what to buy! this will be one of the trap/s to suck the sheep in!
