Given the persisting global economic crisis, it's essential for individuals to focus on diversifying their income streams independent of governmental reliance. This involves exploring options such as stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the adversity in the economy, now is an opportune moment to contemplate these investment avenues.
@rogerwheelers43222 ай бұрын
Gold is often seen as a safe-haven asset that can protect against inflation and economic uncertainty. But like any investment, it carries risks. To determine if gold is the right investment option for you, an investment advisor can help you weigh the potential benefits and risks of investing in gold. They can also help you create a well-diversified portfolio that includes gold as part of a broader investment strategy. An investment advisor can help you decide how much of your portfolio should be allocated to gold and select other investments that can complement your gold holdings.
@joshbarney1142 ай бұрын
Investing in gold is a reliable choice, and I plan to keep buying more to make up for my losses. While silver is also a good investment, my collectibles are not as similar. It's important to have clear investment goals and educate yourself on the type of investment that interests you. I work with a financial consultant regulated by the SEC, and started small, but eventually accumulated over $800,000.

I will like to ask, How did you achieve it? I been trying to stick with index funds. I feel this new interest rates hikes could crash this economy. I'm looking out for a better investing strategy, I have a lump sum that inflation is steady eating up.

He doesn't disagree on recession, he disagrees on timing and it's determined by the economy itself and the central banks reflexive policy. Recession now, recession later, or recession a lot later than anyone is currently thinking (despite all the perceptions around that, which are usually inversed to objectivity).

I see the rising interest rate as a very big problem, as more investors will definitely pull out more money from the Stock market. This might have worked when I was still invest-ing with a couple thousand dollars, but it is more difficult now to decide whether to pull out more than $365k from my port-folio. I know some inves-tors still make that despite the strong bear market. In wish I could pull that feat
@JacquelinePerriraАй бұрын
I think the whole thing about holding stocks for long term will always apply. So I think you should get a quality broker who is able to analyze and pick stocks that will do well in the long term, else you will be in a long bear ride.
@kevinmartenАй бұрын
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a broker, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.

Our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy >>and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyper inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyper-inflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.

Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

It’s common sense. In order to cut Fed must increase money supply. That spikes inflation. Bond holders then require higher yield on long term bonds which will cause long term rates to go up, while the fed is dropping short term rates. The fed obviously knows economics and knows this. But, their purpose is to save a dying economy at the expense of higher long term rates, until the collapse happens - in other words the rate cuts are designed to “kick the can down the road” at the expense of a worse collapse. The final conclusion can only be that this is a controlled collapse, engineered as the great economic reset with the participants being the fed, well for me tho Bitcoin is the ultimate defence against a tyrannical government.r.....I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Adriana Jensen, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

It's stagflation. Wages are going to keep increasing because of the areas of the economy that are unionized, so they have pricing power with their labor rate. But we're also coming up to the point in the business cycle where defaults happen. So it's like the late 60s. The worst mix of economic factors once the stockarket drops off.

I was really hopeful of my investments this year, but all my plans have been disoriented, I've been studying the market crashes and I realized some investors made millions from the recent 2008 recession and I was wondering if such success rate could be achieved in this present market. and the Federal Reserve taking a more hawkish approach to interest rates and bond purchase tapering. Any recommendations?

Clearly the recommendation is switch all your savings to bitcoin. If you are stuck in a 401k or some regulated savings buy microstrategy, which is essentially a bitcoin purchase hidden as a stock.

After the meeting: A key takeaway is another cut before the election. Wage growth shrinking and labour markets remaining tight indicating that the point cuts are needed were key points I heard from Powell today. Maybe this thesis is half correct.

In deciding whether foreign investment capital will exit the US, isn’t it more (or at least equally)important to look at the strength of the USD, and not just the nominal strength of the US economy (nominal GDP)? Most foreign investors have not hedged their USD exposure. In that regard, Fed rate cuts (which weaken USD) are worrisome.

Most recessions start outside the US first in Eurodollar system
@korayven92552 ай бұрын
Historically no, at least for the US. The US is rarely ever affected by outside recessions (but its recessions always affects everyone else). This is due to the US having a consumption-driven economy and having unfettered access to Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa, in order of relevance. In order for the US to be affected by an outside recession, its internal economy must itself be unsteady *and* three to four of those trading regions must be in recession.
