Federal investigators looking into Alton mine collapse

A day after a sinkhole swallowed a light pole in Alton, much remains unknown about the incident.

For those of you who didn’t pay attention to the video……. There was a light post about 30 feet tall in the middle of the sink hole before it fell in. The drone video of the aftermath show no signs of the chairs, stage, grass, and the 30 foot tall light post. So it’s safe to say that if you ever get caught in one of these you’ll must likely never be seen again

Rename it "Sammy's Sinkhole Site." Then have a viewing station hundreds of feet away and charge tourists to come and throw change into it from a viewing bridge that extends over to Sammy's sinkhole. Bank.

@@jeremiah-om7zl They built on top of it because the mining corporation claimed to have secured the area underneath the surface, which they clearly didn't. Corporations are great at making messes, but not at cleaning them up.

I don't know, did he have an affair with the mine and then misappropriate campaign funds to pay it hush money, so that nobody would find out about the affair before the election? I know it's a little complicated, but it's a crime in plain sight. It really shouldn't be that difficult to understand.
