Not justifying, just posting what has been learned so far. The SS used more protection coverage for Jill Biden while she was in Pittsburgh on Saturday, so they weren't available for the rally in Butler. Homeland Security agents were used to fill in the blanks for immediate protection coverage at the rally. The SS claims that local police were supposed to be responsible for coverage beyond the immediate area where the rally was being held. The SS has yet to release a statement on their actions at the rally. Also, President Trump is a "former" President (per POV of the SS) and therefore, he doesn't get the coverage that he would receive if he was currently President. Finally, the director of the SS is ultimately responsible for how the SS performed at the rally. If her head needs to roll, it should, but most likely she will not be fired while Short Ramp Joe is in the White House.
