The Father must have been 50 years old before he had his son..!! I have seen this so many times in the older movies...the parents looking old enough to be the Grandparents of their children.

Could be because people (in many cases) aged sooner than they do today due to the lack of some of the benefits of modern living. And don't forget what most older folks during the 50s had lived trough during the 30s (Depression) and 40s (WW II). 7/2019

Miller was pressured so he was technically blameless. However, he should have been charged with the lesser offense of Section 34 Part B: "Overacting while under the influence"
