Incredible interview! Not only was the guest's story super interesting, but the fact that he was a bright guy who could speak properly made the interview SO much better. I'm over listening to guys who have trouble forming sentences and talk like they have marbles in their mouths. This channel is great. Thank you for spending your time on this channel, Chad. It is clearly a labor of love.

This was a great interview. I knew who Rosso was when I was in Leavenworth, I think me, him and Jerry worked in food service together for awhile. He brings back some memories. I remember the incident with Jerry, then a few years later I ran into Jerry over in the new Terre Haute, I always liked him. I knew who some of the DWB's were, "no nose Rick" was the leader in Leavenworth, then later on he also ended up in Terre Haute but that was after Jerry had been released and there were no other DWB's on the yard there so he was just doing his time. There was a guy in Leavenworth named Jerry Whitworth, he had been a Naval Communications guy who was convicted of espionage for passing cryptic key codes that could have allowed the Russians to pick up communications with US nuclear subs. Jerry had life and he also had some money, but because of his crime he was not entirely popular with the whole white car there, they just tolerated his presence. The DWB's were extorting Jerry, allegedly out of over $1800 over time. At some point Jerry goes to the Guam car and pays them to get the DWB's off him. I like how Rob says that Leavenworth was a blast. Honestly, it was, it was probably the best time I ever did and I was not even on dope. When I first got there the food was great, we had movies shown in a auditorium that was like a movie theater. There was a nice yard, a lot of cats running around that the inmates took care of, I always liked cats so that was nice. There was a little drama and violence but overall it was a very respectful place and I was pretty comfortable there, had a great job in Unicor. Thanks for doing this great interview with Rob, I already found his channel on here and am going to check out his stuff, get in touch with him.

This is really cool, I basically grew up reading some of Robert Rosso's stuff like on the blogs and sites like Gorilla Convict. His stories and wisdom helped keep me away from anything that could get me a prison sentence and also helped encourage me to stay sober and grow as a person. I'm so glad Rosso did not wind up doing a life sentence. The guy clearly has a lot to offer society and nobody deserves a life sentence for his offenses imo.
@munstrumridcully2 жыл бұрын
Right?! How the hell do they go from a plea offer of 2 years to mandatory LwoP?! The draconian sentences for drug charges due to the miserable failure called the "War on Drugs" is pure bullshit, imo! Even cops, prosecutors, and judges know that the so-called "drug war" is a sick joke and causes far more harm than good. They just are scared to so until they retire. The group of retired narcs, prosecutors and judges called "LEAP", or Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, illustrate how harmful drug prohibition is, just like the first drug prohibition, for the drug alcohol, caused far more harm than good. From corruption of govt and law enforcement, to militarization of police and trampling of civil rights, to black markets making drug dealers snd cartels rich, just as a few examples, the drug war is a disaster! Not to mention that after decades of draconian sentencing, destroying inner cities, and spending billions of dollars-- drugs are cheaper, more potent, and more available than ever... Like i said, it's a sick joke...

I spent nearly a decade in the NYS prison system. I was in Elmira Correctional Facility from 2011-2015. While I was there a couple of guys tried to start up a set or faction of the dirty white boys in the New York State system. They had no prior approval from the actual gang in the feds. There was a handful of them who had dirty white boys tattooed on their wrists. In an attempt to develop numbers they were letting really anyone in. One of those particular "members" was a white guy that turned Muslim for protection in another facility so his character was already in question. Well this guy to try to prove himself took a broomstick to one of the higher ups in the bloods, beat him up pretty good. In turn this put a target on the guys who were running the "gang". The top guy got caught coming back from program he got cut and his "brothers" ran in opposite directions. Just another example of you need to be careful in the nonsense you get yourself caught up with. They offered me to join and I declined. Turned out to be a good decision. Love the channel Chad, your doing big things dude much respect!!

I think it would be a good idea to have him back on BOTRW. He caught my attention when he mentioned USP Lewisburg. I noticed things were changing there when i retired. Then i heard several years later that the big house was locked down. That joint shoulda been locked down many years before then. But then again they wouldn't lock it down when somebody would get hit and killed. Life went on. Take care, stay safe and God bless Chad.

Everyone who goes to jail/prison unless high on deugs or emotionally detached has nerves and fear but its a natural feelin dont associate it with bein scared its just your body gettin ready for the unknown. My advice as an ex con is be yourself ( too many go in portrayin someone else then they come unstuck and it always ends bad) mind your own business and regardless of how you feel inside if someone says something disrespectful or tries punkin you. YOU HAVE to stand up for yourself otherwise your time will become hell. Good luck and be safe

I was in with this guy in FCI Terre Haute for almost 2 years. The interesting thing is that is a medium security. Next door is USP Terre Haute which is a max. The max is known for being one of only a few high security prisons that was where drop out gang members were put as sell as check in. PC guys. What people didn't realize was that the medium security prison we were in was also a drop out gang member and prison for PC guys that had points that put them in medium security prison. Ended up getting attacked by other white "gang members" there. Attacked so they could steal my dope. This man wrote fictional prison books while doing his time.

I would've turn down the 2 year snitch package too. You dont want to enter prision with that bad paperwork especially on the west coast

I decided to look up the DWB. First one I see is on gurrillaconvict & I think it’s a interview with this guy. Looks just like him only younger.
