This was definitely one for the books! I was given the opportunity by the chief of the Watertown Twp Fire Dept to test their 3T22 and it was incredible! They utilize Alert for Tornado Warnings and 3 cycles of Attack for the “all clear”. I tested both of those signals and it worked like a champ! This siren is tested with Tuscola County on the first Wednesday of the month at 10 AM. It is also now activated for daily noon whistles after a recent timer installation. A 6 PM whistle may also be added soon. Enjoy!
April 2024 Update: This siren is now equipped with an FC tuned into NOAA Weather Radio allowing it to be automatically activated for Required Weekly Tests and Tornado Warnings for Tuscola County through EAS tones. The solenoid dampers are also now functional, so the siren can operate Fire Signal/High-Low. That signal is now used for fire calls. A 6 PM whistle has also been added.
