Federal Signal Amber Valor

This is my Federal Signal Valor amber lightbar with optional hot-foot take-down and alleys with full flood feature all controlled with a 6-button controller.

Was this something you did custom or do these come with an Amber option? Edit: I see on the site if you order it new you can select the colors you want. This here is a pricey bar then.

Yes, this was one I had setup for a client along with another color combination. So yes, they can be an expensive purchase but very amazing and fun to play with.

At the time of filming this, I was using the 6-button controller but since has been upgraded to the Smart Siren Platinum series controller.

At least while I was going through the different patterns that are preset from Federal Signal, no, however...If you do make an order for this bar, you can definitely inquire to Federal Signal about such request and they will forward the info to their respective engineers to design and program your request for you.

+rjracing38 Did you have to do a special configuration with Federal Signal to get the two end pods in the rear to flash white with the optional white light mode? Or is that standard when you get dual color modules in the rear?

It can do those flash patterns with the patterns programmed from Federal Signal.

The CHP doesn't actually use the Fed Sig Valor. I believe they use Whelen's Police Legend LPX Discrete or the Whelen Liberty WeCan Please correct me if I'm wrong about the CHP's lights.

Depends on how the bar is setup. If you have the LEDs setup to do amber and red colors and the bar is programmed to set off the coloring, then you can display the red and amber but the bar must be setup for that. I have setup multiple multi-colored Valors in the past and got programming for such depending on what the individual was looking to do.

Federal Signal...haha. I have seen some pop up on eBay or even elightbars.org but of those that I have seen, few are amber. I have seen a lot more that are red and blue or straight blue.

Depending on the setup you are looking for, you can see a rough cost idea on Federal Signal's website on their lightbar builder here; config.fedsig.com/lightbar/valor/. This will give you a rough idea of pricing but you will want to check in with a dealer to get accurate pricing and discounts.

Anthony Walters I'll double check my paperwork, I went through @sirennet for this order, I was able to get a much better deal than if I went directly to federal signal. I believe without the hot-foot on both takedowns and alleys, will save you a few hundred at least.

This particular model was 44" wide. You also can get the 51" model for wider roof vehicles or if you wanted the larger model for display.
