If a half hp drill makes it already spin that fast and the siren already sounds loud, then remember the 10 hp motor it is fixed to the siren... Much louder

Nice! I would tape the socket to the drill If it ever fell off into the spinnng rotor, it could cause damage.

Civil Defense is a government organization. I don't know much about that, but I DO know that it is not a brand of siren or siren controller or siren part. The siren manufacturers, such as Federal Signal and ACA, put Civil Defense (CD) stickers on their products back in the day to let people know "This is a unit of your Civil Defense". Some of the stickers actually say that, like on some Allertors.

Just because it's a "Civil Defense Siren" doesn't mean it was MADE by Civil Defense. It means it's a part of Civil Defense. And no, that was Chrysler. And only Chrysler. And yes, that was a siren used for Civil Defense.

Do some research before you post... "Federal Signal was founded in Chicago, Illinois, in 1901 by John Goehst and James and John Gilchrist. Samuel Insull later acquired the Company. The Company went public in 1969 under the leadership of Robert T. Gilchrist." "Civil defense (Civil defence), (see spelling differences) or civil protection is an effort to protect the citizens of a state (generally non-combatants) from military attack." CD and Federal Signal are two completely different things.
