Snow, Ice and Ducks Reach the South | Record Low Temps Across the Country | Black Cloud

It's not often Louisiana duck hunters face ice, snow and freezing temps. A massive cold front sweeps the country leaving no open water for duck hunters, however, the Black Cloud crew find one small pocket that has yet to lock up and make the morning count.

Had a great hunt today in West Tennessee on Reelfoot Lake the ducks flooded into the lake with the snowstorm we had come through, we knocked down 20 picked up 18.

Trolling greenbay last week before the freeze, the rafts of ducks were unbelievable. Still a shitload here, the bay has lots of open water with no reason to fly south. -7 now

man i’m down in Arnaudville, Louisiana got all the damn good gear early October no damn boat or land , off to bad start and end. i been twice, once in Egan on Bayou Plaquemin and Saturday morning in Henderson on a crawfish pond less than 20 birds seen
