This is really the only camera angle that shows you the crazy spin and pace these guys play with

i like it how when you see it on tele, you get the impression that they play so close to the net. in reality, as shown here, the clearance is so much higher 1-2 m. this also changed my perspective on how i play.

yeh. first time i saw fed live in person i was amazed. he seems like he hits flat on tv but he gets more spin than most. they should show this on tv more. i think the public will find it more interesting
@oranjjjggg4 жыл бұрын
BJ12578 it’s probably because the higher up view is more relaxing and less engaging. Most of the public probably want to relax and watch rather than be up close with the action. They do throw in this view occasionally though.

Poor Tomas, he always leaves him all spread out on the floor looking ridiculous. No mercy whatsoever from Roger.

Thanks for uploading the video. It really shows how hard it is to be a pro. ZERO margin for error

It's nice effort to make this video. I know when other people just kept enjoying the match, you were trying to video it. Please upload more if you had sometime :)

Thank you! This is better video than what you get on the tv.

3:28 - he dealt with Berdych's power forehand perfectly there. Just get to the ball, then (the key) moves back a little before hitting it - rather than trying to hold his ground on the baseline (or, on the horizontal plane a meter behind the baseline). … anyhow, all I know is that he handled that shot perfectly. He made a pretty big forehand hit to the line look like a rally ball. Rather than having to scramble and stretch while hitting a squash shot. At any rate, thank you for this great angle! I really hope this tournament remains in London for a long time to come.

I wonder how consistent berdych serve is. His toss is to the moon and back, seems too much room for error.
@commondirtbagz71304 жыл бұрын
Well he’s former top 10 pro so probably pretty consistent

@@commondirtbagz7130 Sarra Errani was a former top 10 and a grand slam finalist and has probably the worst service in the history of the top 300
@kodax2 Жыл бұрын
It was more inconsistent earlier in his career...especially outdoors. But it was also a bigger shot. More than the toss though, it seemed ti let him down in big points and he actually;;y went to see a sports psychiatrist at some point. His serve later in his career became much more consistent and was still a big weapon but it still let him down during pressure points.

Berdych’s ball toss on his serve is too high. It gives his opponents plenty of time to prepare on the return of serve.

they are not 'centrists'! they don't represent the majority of Americans. they are corporate Democrats. i wish we could change the terminology! the terminology is just another part of the unequal playing field, giving corporations credit for being fair and proponents of what is best for the majority of Americans when often it is totally unearned!
