Just like it says on the box. Very very good. Desktop and fonts rendered beautifully. I have always been wary of the Fedora installer but just made some empty space and it installed perfectly alongside Windows. Thanks for the review. I have done enough distro hopping lately.

Fedora 41 KDE has been a stellar experience. Better than Gnome from a former"Gnome-centric" user. It's well worth a demo.

I was loving Fedora 39 and 40. There was some weird GNOME Keyring issue when I upgraded to Fedora 41. (The seahorse ride was unpleasant.) I was already using CachyOS with success on one PC. So I installed CachyOS on my two Fedora PCs. I like Fedora a great deal and will probably give 41 another shot on one PC soon.

Thanks for this. May I request you a video on tiling window extensions such as paperwm or forge? I am suffering from carpal tunnel, and hoping to have a workflow with minimal mouse usage! But at the same time, new to tiling. I have this naive notion of using less mouse with gnome.

Fyi, the reason why (proper) dnf wasn't used in containers is because it's written in python, which makes it pretty heavy on dependencies.

For a long time, I use Fedora but in KDE edition. Why the heck I did not realize Gnome is so good to use. I wish global menu like for gnome become compatible next time.

It was stable until 6.11.11 kernel which causes any laptop with intel ipu6 cameras to fail to boot. The fix is in updates testing - kernel 6.12.5

Your Fedora 41 video is great and may work very good on a laptop, but not so good on a desktop with dual monitors and dual Nvidia GPU's. Fedora 41 worked good with only one monitor with Nvidia GPU, but with two Nvidia GPU's only one card will display information.

@@ArcTechnologies Yes, Fedora work great if your Dual GPU's are AMD type, but with Dual Nvidia GPU's only one will work with Fedora 41. Fedora is great with one Nvidia GPU.

Thank you so much! I would recommend you to do a lot of research regarding the compatibility of the network card used in the laptop, the webcam, how good the touchpad works and more. I have an Acer Aspire 3 running Linux and it's pretty horrible in terms of compatibility...

I don't see HDR option in settings... and I do have everything proper, monitor, gpu drivers etc.. hdr works just fine in windows (dual boot)

i Use Federa 41 gnome only thing i am annoyed about i good sound using the browser but using plays the sound is so low with everything at 100 % havnt had any luck in fixinf that yet.

@@ArcTechnologies It did. I may be jumping the gun a bit, but I only recently tried Fedora after about 20 years away from it (I began with Redhat 5). Having spent only a few days working on it when it happened, it made me somewhat nervous, but I do realize these things can happen from time to time. My goal was to get some experience with Wayland and Labwc, but that isn't working as well as I hoped either. I think there haven't been enough people experimenting with Labwc and Wayland yet, so the info I need isn't easy to find.
