Like saying queen) and bus driver is referring to when she said in 2021 that before pneumonia she felt like a racing car and now she feels like a bus but can take more people with her because of those struggles. She recently read that comment and she finds it funny and said that we can call her like that.

She would rather be called Mommy by her fans than queen. and She feels like instead of driving a racecar and zooming through her career and being flashy, she is driving a bus and is picking up all of her fans and taking us along her journey as well which I think is super wholesome. This is how the Nickname Mommy Bus driver came along and she approves of the nickname.

It feels like almost overwhelming considering this video full of magnificent unreal vocal projections covers through more than 10 years of performances from one single vocalist, even including very recent ones… Sohyang’s vocal longevity is beyond everything. She really is just in a league of her own. May be the greatest vocalist ever exisited.

For me most singers that can go above an f5 tend to sound horribly shrill. some sound great up to g#5 only a handful sound good above that (regardless of technical prowess) just because of how shrill their voices get, however sohyang sounds phenomenal. She's so full, rounded, resonant and just beautiful up there. She also does it in a way where there's very little pressure (obviously there's some pressure, the nature of belting makes that inevitable). It's just so melodic. Gorgeous. I can listen to her song for hours, days, years even and never get bored.
