11:27 This was a scene that Gi-Hun “rejected” the money because the rich guy told him to take the money with the condition that Gi-Hun will never get to see his own daughter ever again. Which means Gi-Hun has dignity and doesn’t always “mooch off of everyone else” but of course, FEE has to paint a poor guy as a villain and a rich guy and the system as victims. Aside from FEE, the other prominent right wing platform that made bad takes on Squid Game that I can think of is the EFAP. I agree with so many of their takes because they made good points about plot structure and character arcs but when it comes to capitalism and a trans character, they crashed out immediately. Some of them even said that the trans woman is the most selfish character in the show for wanting to get the money for surgery and leave South Korea (that discriminates her so hard that she lost her job and her family).

The success of Mr. Beast's "Beast Games", an actual Squid Games style reality competition on KZbin, kind of blows a hole in their whole thesis.

isn't it implied that Gi-hun took part in the 2009 Ssangyong Motors strike, where afterwards all participants were blacklisted from all major south korean companies? So he is actually a victim of circumstance, partially at least, right?

FEE has such a utopian opinion on capitalism that I doubt if he ever knew about Korean chaebols. Still, even if he knew, I think he will somehow find a way to defend their actions anyway because nobody should criticize his precious capitalism. Same can be said for so many right wing movie reviewers.
