I love the Theory Wear merch so much, especially compared to other KZbinr merch because, even when I don’t like a piece enough to go and buy it, I can still see that a lot of care goes into creating it. I see a lot of other KZbinrs making merch that’s just a solid color T-shirt or hoodie with a small logo no bigger than a chest pocket on it. And it’s so disappointing compared to Theorist Merch with awesome designs, hoodies with thumb holes and the plastic aglets on the draw string, and features created because of community input. Nothing against those other KZbinrs, the Theorist Team just sets the bar WAY too high. Keep up the great work!

I heard that each Squid Game has a different theme with different challenges. The Squid Game we saw in season 1 used children's games because the director of the games wanted to play the games that he enjoyed in his childhood one last time. To put the contract thing simply, contracts don't make things legal. They make them illegal. So with the hot wings example, rather than making the serving of hot wings legal (they always were legal), it's making the suing of the restaurant for damages illegal. And it can only protect the parties involved. So you can't sign saying "I won't sue the restaurant for giving me poison" because that isn't a matter of a lawsuit, it's a matter of the police enforcing a strict LAW. You could ask the police to sign saying "I won't arrest the restaurant owners for poisoning their customer", but they obviously won't sign that.
@chongjunxiang30023 жыл бұрын
In short, contract can only work as long as it is legal. But when law breaking activity is involved (ie murder will be involved), the contract will be void and the case will be supersede by criminal investigation.

@@MasukureKuro Well wouldn't the distance vary depending on the longitude?
@DragonSword0013 жыл бұрын
A Nautical Mile is 1/60 of a degree of Latitude (N/S), as the distance between degrees Longitude (E/W) change as you travel further North/South, but Latitude is always constant. 1/60 of a degree is called a minute, and is calculated by dividing the circumference of the world at the equator by 360, then dividing that by 60, wherin the answer you get is 1852m (by closest approximation). This I learned in my 3 years of sea navigation and my 12 years as a naval navigational officer. Also, the "normal mile" or more commonly known as a staute mile was originally described as 5000 paces of a Roman soldier, which through the ages got standardised to 1600m.

Body disposal means burning the bodies, which basically means fuel is the only expenditure. As for people staying quiet they rely on people not trusting those who expose them, and they are also monitorized 24/7 soooooooo yeah, I guess it's just too much to handle, and 400 or so people disappearing isn't too much, considering that South Korea has a pretty big population, and considering some of them are junkies, illegal immigrants or they own their money to the mafia no one will care looking for them too much, without even taking into consideration the fact that someone will definitely take care of that one like, oh, that guy is missing? Workplace OHS laws would apply. An employer must take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of their workers. Games, such as the tug of war round or squid game, require 50% of players to die. This isn’t a “risk of death” - like working on an oil rig - it’s a certainty.
@SgtSupaman3 жыл бұрын
Jobs are legally required to minimize dangers. There are absolutely investigations with potential criminal charges when somebody dies on a job. The military (in America, at least) is something different, as it is held to the Uniform Code of Military Justice rather than civilian laws, but, even under somewhat different rules, deaths are investigated for any potential criminal activity involved. These "squid games" would very clearly not pass as the people running the games implementing appropriate safety measures.

The show is actually pretty good as far as I've watched. It does suffer from having clear protagonists who can't be killed off too easily so some drama doesn't really matter too much but it is fairly smart and not as outlandish as you may think from the concept.

There's a massive difference between the squid game and Russian roulette that is definitely worth mentioning. In the video Mat claim that because Russian roulette ends with the death of a participant, the survivors can be charged with manslaughter. But as far as the players of the squid game are aware when they decide to return, it's possible in theory that every single player succeed all of the 6 games. Of course, we learn later that 3 of the 6 games are designed to eliminate half of participants, but at that point, none of them are aware of this.

Can you do a video explaining why the officer’s brother became the Frontman? I know you might be tired of Squid Game, you’re probably busy, or you might not even see this comment, but it’s something I’ve been wondering about. What were his motives? Who was the Frontman before him, and what happened to that person? There’s just a lot of questions I have about the Frontman in general. Do they get to choose if they’re the Frontman? Is there a chance the main character of the show might become the next Frontman?

I actually really have been wondering if Gi-Hun will become the next Frontman, and the current Frontman taking the place of the old man. That would seem to fit the show and its been on my mind non-stop since I finished Squid Games
