A good strat is to while your fighting a pack eat food so you can heal during the fight like eat the ones you killed THEN keep fighting once your health is there Sometimes you level up enough and just swallow them all

Johnny. If you host a server and play on it. Then go into the server options and click the friendly fire box, once you're a little bigger than the rest of them, you actually CAN eat your own kind. Not just swallowing them either, like you can bite and kill them.
