What brand of hay net do you use?

it really doesn't matter to me. I don't think anything super expensive is worth it because Moonshine will just chew through it anyway. So I just get the $17 ones at Tractor Supply!

How do you like that hay ball? I never see anyone who owns it that feeds alfalfa. Do you use it for a horse? I have been wanting to try it for my palomino since he’s a chunky monkey and eats his hay to fast. But worry about sand colic since we live on the central coast of CA, 5 miles from the beach. So we basically live on beach sand 😑

I'd say the hay ball probably isn't the best for a sandy pen! I have sand in the arena too and use the slow feeder hay bags. I just put those in 100 gallon troughs and tie them to the fence. The hay ball in itself is awesome!! They go through it way faster than hay bags though
