Hmmm so I wonder how the supply chain works on the Oase --- it's the same mechanism and case as the Neptune feeder, but with the different control method / not requiring an Apex....

I really don't see the need for a app controlled feeder. It is a nice to have function if they cost the same. Maybe it is important to mention that the batteries last for months. The Oase seems to be suitable for very small amounts of food, which is really cool.

The idea of being app controlled usually makes things harder for me as an aquarium service provider. This was probably the main reason we didn’t choose the eheim auto feeder +. Cam
