What is feeder piller?
Feeder piller panel are the breaker panel which is very first of switching /protection device at the output/secondary side of transformer and panel.
Function:
The function of the feeder piller is to take supply of electrical energy from a transformer and distribute it via fuse ways, to a number of outgoing circuits, providing each with a mean of protection and control.
Types: Two types
Type A: 6 ways I/C no 2 outgoing no 4+1space B/B Rating 600A
Type B:8 ways I/C no 2 outgoing no 6+1space B/B Rating 600A.
Incoming cable size : For both types of feeder piller the cable size is 2x4c+240mmsq) mean two incoming cables for each feeder piller.
Incoming solid lines fuse for both type of feeder piller is same 630A
Fuse base rating for type A is 400A and for type B is 250A
