I'm wondering why you guys haven't replaced all these old (3000k?) T8 ceiling lights with very efficient T8 LED? You would be able to pick a light colour closer to 6000k and it will help with your live plants, mimic day light better AND save you money on bills. Keep the video's coming guys!! 👍🏼

@@NewEnglandReptile Not specific, I've just seen different colour ceiling lights in the videos. You guys asked for tips/opinions and I thought it would be nice for the videos and perhaps beneficial for plants/animals to have the 6000k/6500k light bars in all the rooms. 👍🏼

With the wood dowels used for perch’s, how often, roughly, do you have to change them out due to humidity? I’ll also thank Donny for getting Kevin back into these videos. Some of my favorite.
@MissingTheMark4 жыл бұрын
If you could somehow swing it, it would be fascinating to see them fed at night. In the wild they grab bats and birds flying by, right? They've got to have amazing reflexes and one heck of a food drive to make that work. It would be curious to see if that happens at night even in captivity. (You might be able to swing a red LED flashlight for your lighting-I've used that to look at my snakes at night and it doesn't seem to bother them if you don't shine it right in their eyes.)
