Watching Ocala and Clover with their shared sticks and now toy makes me so happy. I know Ocala would have been fine with just you guys, but I think Clover really helped him settle in. She is like the big sister of Bellowing Acres. Watching over every one of her furry friends. She is such a good pup! Ocala looks so amazing, and every time he comes up to you, you can just see how happy and grateful he is to be there with you all. I'm so glad you guys decided to keep him. It is like you guys were meant to find him that day! I hope you, Gabby, and all of the furry (and scaly) babies have a great holiday!

Lovely to see Ocala and Clover playing together, they must have both been trotting carriage horses in a former life 🥰. Great to see Akila up close and being so well behaved. I really respect how you acknowledge her full natural behaviours Chris .. the wary tone of your 'for now' said it all. Alila is gorgeous in a scary sharp toothed predator way.

It’s so true re the hand thing. As a positive reinforcement dog trainer, my dog doesn’t care how much I wave my hands in front of her. I often do consults where dogs flinch the moment a hand gets moved. That immediately throws the red flags out to me. It’s so unnecessary. ❤

Akila's a good liccle girl letting the stick touch her.She, obviously, doesn't think it's being too familiar,unlike Bella,when Chris strokes her, sometimes ! 🤭I love Angelus, he's SO handsome! Tik Tok sure scared Gabby ! I love Morelet's crocs,such pretty colouring,Poor Big Mac, definitely an inner ear/balancing problem I should think.Bella's always there when food's about ! She's SO funny and feisty ! Ocala has improved in leaps and bounds (literally!) and looks nothing of the near-death-at-door starving wraith that he came to you as.Poor boy,but because of you rescuing,medicating, feeding,and a whole lot more,he is as we see him today !Well done Bellowing Acres, and Chris and Gabby for saving him.He really fell on his paws when you took him in. Akila is a good little murder log 😁🐊 Joking aside, I really respect and appreciate how in depth you talk about the training and handling of these animals. Believe it or not, I've adopted some of your handling techniques to one of our ponies (a welsh native breed). He's quite head shy and defensive; we think he was mistreated in the past, and we've had alot of luck using some of your methods getting him to trust us. Great work as always guys 👍🙂

I'm seeing the full side shot of one of your newbies and I saw stuff I've never noticed before. We don't get to see them dry tho see their scales... (is that right?) Osteoderms down their ribs and flanks. The patterns of their skin are just INCREDIBLY GORGEOUS! It's like they were designed by a brilliant architect or artist. Their different shapes and sizes are perfectly spaced and sized. They have silver dollar shapes that get smaller and smaller as they wrap around to their arms and bellies in such precision. The spacing is mathematically and geographically is PERFECT! Something and/ or someone HAD TO have designed these magnificent beasts! Perfection and prevision like that HAS GOT TO BE intentional.. My God they are just walking works or art! 🎨🤌

We just adopted a labradoodle from the pound…she’s about 9 months old and was rescued with her surviving siblings from under a trailer. I hope we can do as well with her as you have with Ocala. She’s skinny and also nervous around men, so will take some time to get her fed up and comfortable. People don’t bother and often don’t care about the quality of life of the animals they unfortunately control. You’ve done such a good job with Akila; it’s amazing to see her response to you touching her. I’m betting Big Mc has an inner ear injury…that plop was disturbingly similar to what happens to me. Poor guy. Dogs are so cute running together with that toy.

I saw your comment and wanted to say thank you for giving a rescue a chance. I’ve volunteered with shelters and rescues for over 18 years and have seen horrific abuse and neglect. It’s amazing how many people don’t understand what life is like for most of these animals that are bred and sold in the pet trade. It’s not the happy photo shopped pictures that breeders like to imply. Give your new pup time, time heals the heart.❤

I love how after she has her treat, she gently lays her head back down to wait for her next command. You talked about "eye shy", the same things happen to horses. If they have had people put their halters and/ or their bits in a rough and negative way, they who showground always jerk their heads away and around. It's called "Head shy " and it's really sad to see and hard to correct and reverse.

@GatorChris_ 🤣🤣🤣Figures lol!!! I never knew how much I have grown attached to the animals you post in your videos; Even though I never met them. Especially the reptiles; I always thought they were really cool....and I some day hope to work with animals from reptiles, to birds, and to mammals. The main animals I would love to take care of would be the primates. I used to work at the Nashville Zoo in Tennessee; And I would always interact with the Gibbons, but the one that was more interactive with me was McKaia he was a sweet heart(But if he didn't know you; He would get scared.) The only downside about the zoo is the enclosure for the alligator and the reptiles.....I feel like they need more room to actually move around 😞😞😞I do not know maybe they don't need as much; But as someone who loves animals I would have given them more space.

TikTok the croc is such a cute little killing machine... Snappy but cute. 😅 By the way Chris, I remember a while ago you posted a video about crocodilian senses and mentioned the weirdness of their sense of vision. Do you think it's possible that they might struggle with catching food because it doesn't move like a natural prey item would in the wild? Just a theory, since you described them missing food being thrown at them but catching birds out of the air in the wild. So, could it be that their vision is especially focussed on recognizing certain movement and/or shape patterns?

How do you know the gator isn't gonna snap and take a bite at your arm in their flashing speed? I've seen their speed when you throw something next to them and the reflexes to dodge that seem impossible if they aim well. I get anxiety watching you talk so close to them, or maybe it's the perspective? Or maybe you know their bite range so you know you're 100% safe? I get the same feeling when petting a cat and I know their scratches range haha, maybe it's the same here but with gators.

Well that's why most people should not have crocodiles or alligators or any type of big wild predator whether it's captive bred or not. Only sanctuaries or a place like a zoo should have such a creature that needs a rescuing. That's it. With strict regulations. There's far too many pet KZbinrs that are getting dangerous animals and these animals are not rescues. And I think that should be outlawed because it's insane. That's how a lot of creatures got wild and loose and are now just killed mercilessly in different areas It's not okay. It's not the animals fault.

@Angelface1129 күн бұрын
Yeah those people are bullies. Same type of people that would kill him in an instant and like to go hunt predators because they think they are dangerous or they don't feel pain. But yet we see who's on the end of the gun in the stick don't we The most dangerous predator and most ruthless predator. And someone who doesn't need to be a predator. An animal has no choice they're just eating they're just doing what they're supposed to do. I wish you would name names because that should be named and shamed for people abusing any type of animal It doesn't matter if it's a reptile or a bug or a prey animal or anything. It's unacceptable.
@Angelface1129 күн бұрын
These modern day animal influencers a lot of them remind me of the stereotypical dog breeders especially the more power breeds like pit bulls and all the strange things they're doing to them. It reminds me of people that used to take Rottweilers and other dogs and chain them in their backyard and have them just for the look but there's plenty of those people that don't take care of them and they even breed them for money and their abusive to them. That's the same type of people that I feel that all these animal influencers are. They want attention they want to seem big and bad and it's just not okay. It's really ridiculous that the USA is behaving like such a third world country with its animal rights laws. We should be far ahead of other countries but we're not. There's not even any good breeding laws in most places to protect animals or livestock or wildlife. They label anything as a pest and people can just kill it at will and it's just horrifying.
