Feeding America Tours Church Humanitarian Sites

Leaders of the largest hunger relief organization in the United States came to Utah to visit humanitarian sites of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in early April. The Church has a long-standing relationship with Feeding America.
Since the beginning of 2022, the Church has donated over 18.7 million pounds of food and donated $1M in cash to Feeding America to help address food insecurity needs across the country.

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful! I got involved in supply chain management after reading an Ernst & Young report on global food processing 30 years ago. I’d still love to work on getting nutritious delicious food and water to all the hungry and needy worldwide. I still believe the word of the Lord that “there is enough and to spare.” May we all contribute to these two organizations with our hearts, means and hands, however we can.❤

Reminds me of a talk by President Thomas S. monsoon when he was a very young Bishop. President Harold B. Lee was Prophet at that time. A young Polynesian teenager was having difficulties that could lead him in a wrong direction President Lee asked that Tom Monsoon to check on him. Bishop Monsoon said he is not in our boundaries to which President Lee responded. The Lord has no boundaries. This is how the heavenly inspired welfare system is ín The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints carries food to the hungry throughout the world, Hunger has no boundaries when a tummy is hungry. when clothing is needed, medical help etc... The Savior say's feed my Sheep. God bless this program and all that assist to move this good work alóng. And a huge plus prayer's are spoken in great faith to bless those who receive help to be nourished by God's special kind of love.

There is plenty of meat also available. Beef, pork, chicken, tuna, and sometimes turkey. There are canned meats as well as frozen meat. (I know this from personal experience.)
