This is the most informational video I’ve seen. I’m certain there’s info here my vet’s not aware of. Thank you so much.

So I just moved into an apartment that has a donkey living in a small stretch of land behind me. I have been given permission to give him some feed from the tractor supply store, and I could also take him for a walk if I want to, but the man who owns the donkey, said he’s stubborn and went Get back into his pen after the walk so any information you can give me to help out is wonderful and the donkey has burrs all over him and the tractor supply said baby would get them out any information about this would be helpful as well. I asked the tractor supply store, why the man doesn’t cut down the shrubs and he said when you cut them down, they just grow back bigger than ever. Thank you I love the donkey. Her name is Jennie. Also, should I be giving her a carrot, a sweet potato and some treats every single day it’s just she seems so hungry. She doesn’t have much to forage on her tractive land, but her owner does give her hay.

PS. Never give donkeys grass clippings. Grass clippings ferment quickly and because of the slow passage through the gut compared to horses and ponies they will get colic which can be fatal. Donkeys are more stoic than horses and will often hide their signs of distress until it's too late. It can be difficult to tell when your donkey is unwell.

My mule's ears might be producing more ear wax than "normal" whatever that is. He shakes his head quite a lot. A vet checked and found nothing wrong but gave me no advice. I run my finger in there to help get the excess weight "wax" out, but that is not really a good cleaning. He likes to have his ears scratched.

Yes. But but be careful not to over feed. Donkey and mules process feed much more efficiently then horses, therefore are more prone to weight issues and lamities
