When you let the cows into the barn, do the cows tend to go into their favorite stall or do they take any stall to be milked? I really liked Mason's wheelie and the smile on his face. River is like the energizer bunny.... just keeps going and going. Blessings to you, Aaron.

That takes me back to the hot summer nights catching fireflies and listening to all of the night sounds in the stillness. The best sound of all was the cow bells in the distant pasture. Thank you for sharing another great day on the farm. Stay safe, and God bless.

Love your feeding videos. I noticed blue baler twine. It’s been over 25 years since I stacked hay 😂. Silage looks tasty 😋, mix it with corn meal takes me back to the 60s and 70s

I just subscribed. Why? you seem caring and let your cows out to see the sun! We have a horse stable and we try to get everyone out weather permitting. You have a clean and well put together place. and your clean looking, It makes a difference if you are taking care of yourself, most likely you take care of your livestock too. Good to find your channel, look forward to seeing more.

Do the milking cows go to the same stalls each time? I remember my neighbor getting upset when one cow got in the wrong stall and the regular cow wanted to be in the same one. Lots of yelling and pushing....LOL

Your farm is very labour intensive, why not put a water trough at the back of the pen higher up and away from feed that way no need for constant cleaning. You’ve very healthy livestock.

Really enjoy the videos and the way you farm. However I believe your welfare standards are let down by those bells. They are annoying enough on video. How must it be for the cows every second, minute and hour of the day to have that loud noise inches from your ear. When an individual cow is still and it’s bell isn’t ringing another cows bell is. Give it some serious thought. There is evidence that cows milk production can be raised by playing them certain types of music and farmers play this in their parlours. So they are sensitive to sounds. Just because things are traditional doesn’t automatically make them a good idea and I am for keeping traditions alive but only the harmless ones. I hope this doesn’t offend you but I just had to raise this. I’ve been meaning to say it for a while now. Take care and all the very best in your endeavours.
