Tonight I found a spider climbing my shower curtain. I've been terrified of spiders since I was tiny. But today I calmly backed out of thr bathroom, went and got a container from the kitchen, caught up th a t spider and released it outside. I'm not proud of it, and I don't believe I'll ever be that comfortable around spiders, but I used to literally close the door and not enter any room for days if I saw a spider or call someone to come over and kill it for me. For me to catch up a spider on my own and gently release it, is HUGE progress for me and I attribute that progress to you and camera lady.

Good job! Remember that there’s no shame in putting that spider to the side and releasing it a day later, if you can’t do it directly. =)

The Funnel Web still kind of freaks me out. The wicked legs, the flashy colours, those massive fangs and their outrageous speed! Sets off all of my alarms. On the outside I'm all calm and cool. You'd never even know that on the inside I'm a little girl crying "Why?" But if I was in the Beastie Room, you would notice that I'm always looking for that one out of the corners of my eyes. Yup. That is the one. The rest are cool. Peace.

Screaming sexiness? Oh, Dave! I watch your channel because I have spent years as an arachnophobic person. I was terrified of all spiders until 1991, when I moved into a duplex that was utterly infested with brown recluse spiders. I live in Kansas, U.S. I had a two-year-old, and I was eight months pregnant with a second child when we moved in, and within days I had collected more than three dozen venomous spiders to take to the leasing agent to explain why we would be breaking our lease and moving out. After I identified what the spiders were, my little girl never again spent another night there-she was in the pick-up-every-bug stage! We stayed with a friend while I anti-spider-packed our belongings, and we ended up buying our first home, as what I discovered was that most rental properties in the area also had infestation troubles (it had been an unusually warm dry year). Now, non-venomous spiders do not frighten me as much. I’ll never be a spider hobbiest, but I enjoy your love of spiders and I’ve grown enough that I can appreciate your hobby. Still not a fan of fiddles, though!

When they are hungry, spiders can be very fast! I'm so familiar with the happy dance from my sons tarantula Luni she is a great dancer ( Grammostola Rosea ) but sometimes refuse a feed for a long time too. She is fine and thriving though despite that fact ( and will eat eventually ). When she starts to walk around in her enclosure it's time for a feed. Thank you Dave and Sweet Camera Lady for yet an interesting video! 👋🕷♥️👍
