Another good video. I also like mechanical fixes. Your cows look really good and clean for having to stay in the barn. They are beautiful and the udders look huge to me. We used to put ash on the driveway at times when I was young (lived on a hill with a round driveway). It worked fairly well. The one thing nice about this time of year is that each day is starting to get longer and the sun is getting warmer.

we had nearly 2" of rain here in west central Wisconsin this week. But everything seemed to be ok when we let the cows out this morning. Quick question for ya Alan, I can't remember what model of uni picker you have, but I have the opportunity to buy a 701 with a 737 husking bed. Only problem is it's a couple hours away and I want to make sure I have a heavy enough trailer. Any idea what your machine weighs?
@trinitydairy Жыл бұрын
I don't know what it weighs, but I know it's heavy, but this one has a 839 husking bed and a 6row head, so it's probably a lot heavier than the one you're looking at, we had this one hauled on a semi trailer. This one also has axel extensions to fit the wider husking bed, so it had to be hauled as an oversized load.
@wreckandraceify Жыл бұрын
@@trinitydairy just an update, I hauled the machine home today. The old thing weighs 11,000lbs on the nose. I would have never guessed it was that heavy, but the front drive axle, engine, and husking bed must be heavier than I thought.
