Just lut of curiosity, why do you cohab tokays? Arent they very teritorial, and their bites can do damage.
@Reptiliatus8 ай бұрын
Tokays are actually quite social! It's best to just keep a male/female pair together but once they start reproducing they thrive in little families. They actually protect their young and the mother sometimes even helps a hatchling leave the egg! They won't cannibalize each other either!

Idk what you guys are planning but when you guys go, you should go to a forest area and a residential area and show which is easier to find them in and also see if wild leopard geckos are more observant than captive because mine will just walk off the edge of a 4ft table and break a leg if I let him🤦♂️😂

Disclaimer: I am not a reptile keeper and my thoughts should not be acted upon. The eyes did look like they had some sort of buildup at the edges. It looks like it’s the part of the eye furthest for the tongue to reach? Maybe the tongue can’t quite reach, making it easier for eye caps to stick? I wonder if it would come away with a q-tip (not dry, not dripping, but definitely wet with disinfectant or at least dechlorinated water… are there eye drops for reptiles/geckos?). I assume a dry q-tip could scratch the eye, since my cat finds them irritating and I assume his ears are less sensitive than a gecko eye. 😅 Increasing moisture at that exact spot with a dropper makes more sense. If you talk to the vet, I’d be interested if there’s a way to “help”.
@Reptiliatus8 ай бұрын
Thank you kindly for sharing your ideas/insights! I am wondering if it is something to do with her eye caps as well. Seems that way. its also tricky knowing what to apply since they can lick their eyes.
