I feed every time in coco that’s the point of it to always have the same ec in the coco. That’s also why you feed until runoff to avoid salt buildup

@@WelcometoTheGrowTent Love you GT, but because it's inert, it's hydro. You can (and it's best to) feed multiple times per day, so long as you go to runoff and feed the EC that you would maintain in a DWC reservoir.

@@WelcometoTheGrowTent The reason that he said it is hydro is because coco or coco/perlite in a felt pot can be compared to something like a perlite dutch bucket / bato bucket system using hydroponic nutrients in a reservoir. The only difference is that the coco holds moisture for way longer than just perlite so watering schedules are spaced out a lot more, and because of that, most people do manual watering instead of a reservoir system on a timer. Whether or not to called inert coco in a pot a hydroponic system remains to be clarified 🤷🏻‍♂️

@WelcometoTheGrowTent I feel there is some confusion about Coco Coir because a lot of Coco that people buy off the shelf is an amended mix. 100% Coco can be used as a medium in a hydroponic system. I agree with the OP. Feeding should be every day. Coco Loco is basically soil. Unamended Coco Coir will require about 3 times the water of Coco Loco. Coco Loco requires about 6.3-6.5 pH whereas as Coco Coir requires about 5.8.

This was a great video, i learned just how far, far away I was from being where I need to be on my most recent attempt. I regret not paying more attention to you and your videos. I avoided them due to the lack of actual flower videos. I didn’t realize how incredible both Patreon and the discord really was. Truly this is a learning process. I have seen every Mr. Canucks video. What I have never seen as any real interaction between him and his thousands of viewers. He’s an incredibly talented grower, and equally talented video editor. He hasn’t posted for a while and I wish he would. But I’m so impressed with your discord family and my interactions so far with GT.

I did super soils similar to Mr. Canucks for a few grows. You only need to feed once. The initial mix should carry you through veg, then you up-pot for flower. That will carry you another 30 days. Around week 3 of flower you finally feed (top dress). It works out perfectly for 8-9 week strains because you run out of nutrition around week 7.
@WelcometoTheGrowTent

This was a very good video but you didn’t get into that coco will hold your nutrients for 4-6 months and leach the nutrients out slower then normal and is one of the reasons it is used in n super soil’s and living soil. Now down to feeding depending on your plants and how you amend your soil or the company that made your soil and amended it. So ocean forest one of the good compost soils out and with that soil even with liquid nutrients should be done once a month to keep salt levels down in your soil and you won’t get nutrient lock out. Now a living soil I am trying out and it is sohum soil and in the beginning I thought it was garbage till my plants took off, now mind you this is not a compost it is a living soil so no feeding till flower and you use compost tea’s. Your plants will only take up so much per day no matter what size it is and transplanting will definitely help you on feeding the s you are using liquid nutrient with dry you need to feed way less and with a super soil to me is the easiest way to grow nothing but water till flower .
