FEEDING THE COWS ROUTINE, MIXING FOOD, JCB 542/70 AGRIPRO TELEHANDLER

I've not done one of these for a while. So i thought it was about time i did! We've got the New Holland 6020 on the Zago King mixer wagon. The JCB 542/70 Agripro telehandler is on loading duties.

Like the idea of a reversing vid ,reminded me when i was a lad backing an old fergy trailer with the wheels right on the back it would turn so quick unlike a mid axle trailer .Wish you and all at the farm Very Happy Christsmas .

Probably better to use the bucket shake button as it's less wear on the joy stick but it's down to personal preference. This isn't a dig George but could you do a video on the cost of clamping silage as opposed to bale and the cost of wrap and the cost of having a silage wagon etc?

Merry Christmas to you George& liz, I am glad that you have found a name for the new puppy 🐶 as always your videos always remind me of the yard work at this time of year, however the farmer that I worked for didn’t have the equipment that you have today but we still managed to get the work done and sometimes after morning feedings we would go and do a bit of forestry work and clear out all the dead and fallen trees and branches and we would always be back in time for afternoon feeding and usually on a Friday I would be in the grain store rolling the barley (electric milling machine) and would make up all the different sheds with the right amount and sometimes put an additive in if it was required (nuts of some kind or a processed form of malases ) and while the cattle 🐮 were feeding bed them down. Ta Ta for a bit and see you on the next one.

Yeah I agree with you George the JCB is the best telehandler. The previous machines were good but not very reliable. The latest ones are better and we have not had any problems with the latest models. I also think the screen is good like you do.

I learned to reverse trailers while farming so when it came to my class one test I passed first time.Biggest problem people have is trying reverse on their blind side but if they reversed on their good side with minimal steering they would find reversing easier 👍

People for some reason over think the situation of backing up it's really easy to back up. If you can back up a little single axle trailer you should have no problem with backing up a long trailer. It doesn't take much steering in reverse. Small turns of wheel is all it takes anymore that your going to be chasing or jackknifing the trailer
