When i saw you feeding the fish with dry food instead of goldfish or small tetra feeder fish , i instantly fell in love. It's a prove that you can keep oscars, arowana or whatever without feeding them live food.

"I had an oscar that refused to eat pellets. It was finnicky. It ate goldfish, had to do it"......live feeders are the worst thing you can give an Oscar or any other cichlid. They carry parasites & pathogens, which will get passed to your fish. And Oscars will eat pellets....don't feed him for a few days...he'll eat. Try Omega One...very good pellet food. crazycichlidkeepers.com

"Eat and grow" is the mantra of the Oscar. They grow rapidly, too; I got it at about 1 inch and within 6 months he had grown to about 8 inches!
