Hi! Do you have any tips on feeding two dogs different foods? I am sitting them, they are not my own and one gets fresh meat while the other gets just dry food. The problem is that the one (Dachshund) that gets fresh meat is not food driven at all and can leave it for hours, while the one that gets dry food (Australian Sheppard) is very food driven and eats anything that you will offer him 😢

Al, Jericho is very well behaved. Do you have a video where you trained him to avoid excess barking?

He really is doing a nice job. I don’t have a video showing that because he already new this before I got him. But…I will have a video very soon on how to deal with this problem.

I have two pit bulls and a German Shepherd and I did this very unique method of beating to my dogs I did it randomly I didn't know or hear or even think of anyone else doing it I just for some reason would have them sit and then I would give each one of them a bite and continue around until the food was gone This is ended up being a nightmare for me since then this has been three or four years ago... My German Shepherd has since passed away He was 13 Saturday of my life but any rate the last year he was alive and he absolutely refused to eat anything unless it was absolutely handpicked He was 150 pounds he ate a lot and often it was needed especially in his condition in his last year with muscle wasting etc poor health but my older female pit bull which was his jelly to her peanut butter :-) lol has taken notes not only from our previous training of hand feeding together but also hand feeding alone I don't care who you are or what source of food or type or how long my dog has been without a single bite or even a drink They will not touch it unless I give it to them by hand my younger pit bull which is I think 4 years old now 5 years old is not nearly as restrained and fickle but since a week before my German shepherd passed my female pretty won't touch anything at all no kind of food I have tried it all trust me all when I say all I mean all without giving her each individual bite it has to be a certain size certain temperature certain texture and when she's ready for it this takes up an enormous amount of energy and time and causes me a little bit of frustration I may have something to do and she may be like you're not holding it right I swear it is really a huge thorn in my side which I wish that I had not necessarily done but even that 20 years ago when I began training my dogs mind you this is when Michael Vick was just busted to never ever ever number one be put in a situation where they could be tempted taken torture or poisoned and number two to never ever ever take food from anyone else but me and never ever just steal food if their life literally depended on it I promise you they would not even look twice at it not even if it is their absolute favorite which seems to always be liverwurst.... You can leave a raw chicken on the floor in their bowl next to a fresh cold bullet water You can call them and tell them to eat it They will just look at you like okay give me a bite hurry I'm hungry I'm waiting please please you could leave a roll of liverwurst on the table and be gone to work all day They won't touch it You can throw a steak over the fence not that I leave my dogs in the backyard cuz I don't They wouldn't touch it You can't entice them you can't tease them and they will not work for food Just wanted to put that out there as an extreme result of basically exactly what you're doing Now this is only my experience and I am not a trainer just a serious dog enthusiast especially GST's peace ❤️
