I love this and similar ideas! My favourite was the cat shelter that teamed up with an office supply store, in exchange for a donation they would print a photo of your ex and shred it, then use the shredded paper in the litter boxes!

I'm always shocked at how horrible people's exes (and family) can be. My exes are all lovely people, and we still talk on occasion. I am glad that this catharsis exists, though, for people not as fortunate.

Agreed. I’m still on good or neutral terms with my exes. Even the one or two I fell out of touch with. They’re all good people. Just various things went wrong/were revealed that made the relationships not work.

Wasn't his name, but mine lied about his mother dying in his arms and how he was too young to help. Used the trauma as a reason to hurt others. Turns out he wasn't even in the house... not that a mom dying is not bad or anything, but he recounted the lying of watching the life drain from his mom multiple times. I didn't find out for 8 years.

About the LACEY ACT! I came up with an idea the other day and have been trying to gauge interest. I have Clint quite on board with the idea, and Adam from Wicken's Wicked Reptiles is also interested. If you guys are too that would be so awesome. I'm doing absolutely everything I can to spread awareness but my skills and abilities are limited. This is my idea: Idea: Get all the PetTubers to make a short part of a video where they talk about how this could affect them, their loved ones, their family members (heck, get as many kids in the thing as possible) their viewers, the communities as a whole, the planet for pete's sake! Then, send them to the person who wants to head this thing and get them to put all the footage together to make one mega animal positive video with everyone. Then post it in everyone's channel. At the same time if you can. I really feel like that would make a massive impact! I also say don't stop at reptiles. Get people like Emzotic on, I know Clint at least has access to her. Get the tiktok pet people in on it too, heck, put the famous pets on. Have them sad that as a dog they can travel, but that their turtle sister and bird brother have to be left behind! I have a lot of ideas if anyone needs them for something like this and I'm unwell but willing to help to the extent of my ability.

I would happily pay $20 to feed one of my “ex”’s to a snake. Only thing is, we never got into the relationship. He thought we were bf/gf but I pulled the line at just simply dating. He then got super manipulative and complained very vocally whenever I would hang out with some friend groups that he hadn’t been a part of when they were made, was upset anytime I did anything without him and most importantly to him, when I tried to spend some alone time for me and recovering from finals. At one point, he even tried to tell me that it wasn’t worth it to salvage a failing friendship. (Spoiler alert: I didn’t listen to him, salvaged that friendship and wound up marrying the friend) Eventually I said enough after he snapped at me one time too many. I had been trying to hang out with a friend before I was scheduled to hang out with him. He saw the both of us online and blew up at me before I had the chance to offer my story. I gave him the cold shoulder, no contact for a week as I worked 8 days straight. At the end of that, I sent him a “no longer even friends” message and he finally got the cue. So when you fed your snakes, I inserted one to be my “ex”. Thank you for sharing this with us. It was fun to watch.
