Weekly/fortnightly pill containers are great for longer holidays, i use these for frozen portions.

I had someone watch my tank with ZERO knowledge on a reef tank. I made a video and showed him exactly what I needed done with the pre-portioned food and things I wanted him to check. 👍

Great tips ;) Here in Europe you can get a wheel with 29 (I think) trays - so that is really cool. Will have to get one if I am going to go away for more than a few days ;)

@@adrianestebanvaquezurgell5178 I cut up the frozen cubes and place them into each slot for how ever long I will be away, that way my tank sitter knows what to feed on what day. Works great!!

I set up two feeders and divide the dose. Just in case one doesn't work or food gets stuck. At least they would get half the food if one didn't work. Especially if your using flakes .Where pellets is a better option.

2 days without food is usually ok for most species. If you have highly active fish like anthias or chromis, you may want to consider getting them used to pellet food and using an auto feeder while you're away. Even when you're not on vacation, an auto feeder is a great way to deliver small amounts of food during the day when you're not home.
