In training birds, it is a natural response for them to step up onto your arm when you touch their chest. But you can't be scared Arryn! He senses that! 👍 ❤

ANY AND ALL! The interactions you have with Steven are AMAZING - it really keeps me coming back - but learning how to keep your arm stationary when it's out there for him to walk on will REALLY help. Seagulls have AAAAMAAAZING vision - like 260 degrees or something higher. So when you move your arm, Steven will treat it as a surface that MOVES. Keep it steady always, and he'll hop on you in no time.

I have an tip.if you want him to be on you're hand don't follow Steven with the hand put it in One place and let him get used to the hand DON'T use you're glove. IF you do you can never get him to be on you're normal hand and when you do stay calm i have a Bird Love you're vids

I have started watching since the 69 eposode I guess (where you uploaded all days in one combo and subs rocket high). Since then I love this Channel. Is so relaxing and gives happyness after Grey work. For me its funny but I also lo e the idea You went once to the bird shelter and showed seaguls in need. I'm just gonna say it: I'm pretty sure Steven is actually two seagulls. The seagull in this video has a much darker (gray) head than the other one. The one with a much lighter tone of feathers is much more comfortable with Arryn being really close, while this one with the gray tone is (and has always been, in past videos) much more aggressive and careful. It's completely possible that it's two different seagulls and the lighter toned one is the original Steven, whom this gray one is "imitating". Seagulls, much like other birds, learn really fast by imitating the behaviour of their fellow kin.

lmao no, anybody that knows even a little bit about ornithology knows that seagulls switch out coats along with the seasons all the time. just because the coat is different doesn't mean its a different bird. it takes time to build trust. there is no way that isn't the same seagull as all his over videos.... and if your theory about imitation is true, then why is there only two seagulls then? why not 3? or 4? it just doesn't make any sense. if one seagull learns that he can get free food by imitation the original steven, then all the seagulls in the pack will do the same. you wouldn't end up with two stevens, but a whole damn parking lot of stevens. And that is why your theory is incorrect.
