I love Bamboo cutting boards. They are easy to maintain. I have no problem with them absorbing meat juices or any for that matter. I use olive oil to clean and sanitize mine.

Keep those for raw meat but the best cutting board I’ve ever had is a Boos Block cutting board. I clean it regularly with course salt and a half lemon but I also use a bit of bleach and water to maintain a consistent look. Fun fact, it’s said wood has a natural ability to disinfect itself.

Boos boards are the best and available in several sizes! I have the largest one so it can double as a charcuterie board whenever I need one. It always looks lovely in my kitchen. I do not use it for meat. I have several different colored inexpensive cutting boards that can be sanitized for meats. I generally consider these to be disposable and replace them on a regular basis.

I have a Boos board and have had it for at least 20 years. It was a great investment and does not dull your knives. As someone else mentioned, I use it for everything but raw meat as it cannot be properly sanitized.

Make your corn in the microwave 1-3 ears on high for 3 minutes. Then finish them on the grill if you want. You don’t have to shuck the corn before you put them in the microwave and the skin as well as the silk will come right off.

I've found you can trim the strings off the top of the corn, then put the corn cobs in the microwave for three minutes. You need to keep the cob leaves on. Three minutes later take out the corn. Take the leaves off and ready to eat. In 3 minutes! You will love it!

Absolutely!! My daughter doesn't like mushrooms and my son will pretty much eat anything but he doesn't love the consistency of mashed potatoes. They've never been picky eaters really, but we also have always eaten so many different types/kinds of foods. They've been introduced to many foods from an early age.
