I really appreciate how you take the extra time and effort to clean and service your equipment prior to storage. That is something that my dad and mom always trained us boys to do on our farm. And your actions today are proof that your dad and mom have instilled that same work ethic and tradition in you too. And as you will continue to discover that as you use them, it will continue to bless you and your family for a lifetime. This is a wonderful and priceless gift from parents to give to their children. By the way, I did not know that one of your many talents included “fridge clean outs”. You could have at least shared some of the goodies with Ellie😂

Another example of your equipment upgrades that are making work a bit easier. Wow, 73 bales of corn stocks, sure will come in handy for caving season through winter. Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting. Got the baler all cleaned up and ready to put away for the winter. Good show Cole. Remember to grease it yet. Lots of feedlot maintenance today. Cleaning them up and hauling to a field that can really use the manure. Good going Cole. Always nice to have clean feedlots. We farm in central Alberta and we get minus 40f weather in the winter. We use big molded cement insulated heated automatic waters in our feedlot. They never freeze. And they don’t screw up either there’s a few good cement ones made. You guys should try one. If it doesn’t freeze here. It definitely won’t freeze for you guys. One two bowl waterer supplies one pen of 300 head of cattle. We have 22 pens with those waterers. We love them.

Last time you got a corn husk sliver stuck in your hand. There's a product called "Prid" that hair dressers use to get out hair splinters. It comes in a small tin and you should keep some on hand if Tiffany can't get it out next time. Drug stores sell it.

Cole what is the optimum amout of cows on your guys farm curious i dont have a clue i just love supporting you guys i grew up on a 400 acre farm my dad owned but he never farmed he let neighbors do it only thing i learned was to drive a semi for our neighbors because it was free labor

They probably have about 150 to 200 with the amount of land and resources they have.

I work on my adopted parents farm and we have approximately 1,500 head of cattle split between beef and milk production and we have almost 9,000 acres of land. It takes roughly 2 acres per cow to grass feed them but if you are using feed lots only then it really depends on personal preference of how many you put in the lot.

Great timing on the poop scrape. That looked like the perfect moisture content to my uneducated eye. Maybe slightly dry for the dust but otherwise good. Seems some of the bovines relate the big green machine with food and want to chase it for a bit! Great video Cole. VERY productive. Sorry bout the empty fridge. THAT is a bummer big time. Over here in the western side of the state we had lack of precip early in the season, then the grasshoppers hit. My production of hay was a little more than a third of last year. Yeah I am tired of drought too. Unfortunately, it will probably get worse for all of us......I think I might know why. Look up in the sky on any given day when you see all the white streaks from the aircraft flying over head (CHEMTRAILS) you have your answer. (not a solution, but an ongoing problem)

When you see the cattle on top of the temporary manure pile, you have to think the desperation for a different view is what propels them to climb on top, even with Cole adding to the pile. Or, if you consider the livestock are cunning like those portrayed on “Shaun the Sheep”, they are using the vantage point to plot the best escape route. 🐑🐂😀

Looks like a beautiful day there. We had a 30+ temperature drop last night. I think we got down to 42 but it’s a beautiful day now around 70. Scares you when the weather forecasters say welcome to fall cause winters going to be interesting! People here have no idea how to drive in snow or watch for black ice. I pray what we get is snow not ice. Glad your Mom and Dad got a fall vacation.
