God bless you, I’m a fellow cancer survivor, I was told I was in remission in 2016, I know how you feel 100 percent. I suffered 911 cancer and had surgery that altered my life forever, but I’m alive. My son was only 9 at the time and I was and am a single dad raising him alone, I had to win the battle and I did. I will pray 🙏🏻 for you for a healthy life ahead

Saved this episode. Feeling like I’m a failure in many ways is something I fight hard not to feel most days. Listening to this had me in tears because I realised I’ve survived and overcome 2 divorces, miscarriage, cancer scare, abuse, mental abuse from an old boss. Eating disorder. Laxative abuse. Found passion for baking and the gym and now embarking on bodybuilding with the hope of one day going on stage. I’ve raised my son who is 21 and have the most amazing family who despite all the hurt I put them through are now my rock and best friends ❤ thank you 🙏🏻

SAudrey has such a peaceful way about her. She sits and listens to Matthew and actuallylistens to him; it‘s not an act. She actually listens and one can see that she‘s in the moment. So beautiful.

So much of our confidence can be used from our past. So true! We tend to look at our past with negativity. There is a lot of positive there too. 👏

Thank you Matthew. For me, it's overcomming my social anxiety and depression: my first group travel, daring to date, trying new hobbies. It was really hard for me, but I did all these things on my own and I can and should be really proud of where I am today!

👀🤯 these podcasts have been on point lately! Literally woke up feeling the same way about looking up at the new mountains in my life and feeling overwhelmed. I have decided to not look down because in the past I felt my empathy for others dragged me down. Now that you mention it, looking down at the mountain I’ve climbed before, my confidence comes from the strength and healing I’ve received from God. Keep up the great content & looking forward to more! 🎉

We have all seen a glimpse of a well adjusted, sane individual. We wished we could win in life at their level. We wished we had their luck, their calm and their contentment. I am so much further than I ever was. You are right, Matthew, sometimes we need to relish in the accomplishments. Some people are just simply more capable of going further. We built our strength. It's hard to change gears.

The 2nd half was very helpful. Looking at the negatives isn't. It just feels too painful. Just because someone's overcome many storms in the past doesn't mean that person is going to be feeling any better about going through more pain.

not necessarily true, one of my close friends is huge, very overweight, and you would be absolutely surprised to how much confidence he has and how many attractive girls he talks too, its all in how we carry ourselves! he dresses nice, he speaks well and has a good sense of humor. there are more qualities than just the visual which are attractive and appealing
@jessmessing31469 ай бұрын
Sometimes the most attractive people are the most insecure due to years of dealing with others who seem to value that trait highly over the other qualities they have, which may lead them to develop huge self-worth issues. They may attract a lot of people, but what sort of people? And will they even be able to keep them around? Will they want to? Also: aging presents much more of an existential crisis, especially for women. So, no. It's just not that black and white.

Hi folks Here is another mindset shift that is a shortcut to confidence. Trying = success! You can try anything. When talking to a stranger, the success is not about having a great conversation or obtaining their Instagram. The success is in trying to strike up a conversation. That first question you ask them: ‘ Nice shoes. Where did you get them?’ That's the success. What comes next? Adventures!

At Audrey. Just some feedback I noticed you wear a shirt that says something on it, but the microphone is in the way so I spent half the time trying to figure out what your shirt says and then I see that you’re comfortable, relaxed and chill with your body language feels away from the camera so for me, it feels like you’re not really open to if you were. I understand you may be shy. Anyway, I just thought I would mention this because the third or four times a lot of lol.#AllLove#SpeakingOfConfidence
