I've never understood the drum charting until now. It's never made sense to me because I could never hear the VERY SUBTLY different hi-hat sounds the blue was making but it all makes sense now. XD Now to figure out why the green is charted to tom when it is (to me) clearly also a cymbal. Mystery 1/2 solved.

sneakyninja2003 He's not on pro mode, in normal mode the crash and low time share the same space. On pro it becomes a green circle (cymbal) or a green tom.

On every Pro Chart I've seen the green note is still a Tom Note. Only when I hear a crash cymbal is it a cymbal note. I've seen the Pro Chart for this which is why I said what I said.

For most songs, drums follows this format: Normal Red = Snare Normal Yellow = High Tom Normal Blue = Medium Tom Normal Green = Low Tom Cymbal Yellow = Hi-hat (if the song alternates between closed/open, this is closed hi-hat) Cymbal Blue = Ride Cymbal (this can also mean open hi-hat if, like above, it alternates between open/closed) Cymbal Green = Crash Cymbal Of course, there are some exceptions, like the high tom being repurposed to the bell (whatever it is) in Viva La Vida.

I think it switches between yellow/blue/green to reflect hi-hat changes, like closed/sizzle/open or something. It'd help if we had access to the drum-only track, but in places where the drum track is isolated a little bit you can definitely hear a difference.
