One of my important lessons with a great teacher was that..he took me do dance with him with eyes closed...And i danced better! Relaxed, for example. Our eyes bloqued some movements sometimes, if you don't see, is like you don't know. And if you don't know, you will let it go!! 💃🎼

Dany tought me Salsa too. He showed me how to keep the tension correctly. What I really learned in class: it depends on the „pressure“ of the dance partner, because some are ‚rough’ and some lead to ‚soft’, so we need to „work“ with our dance partner instead of just doing what you think. He also told me to keep the posture and that I need to be attentive on the signals of the dance partner. Exactly like Jasmin did easily without seeing because she listened to the beat. For sure it is advantageous that Dany is an experienced Dancer, but listening with their ears and their bodies made it look so fluent. Great one ! More Outtakes!!! 😂😍

Really good explanation. Wow to the blind dancing, you need be extra sensitive to the signals of the lead.

This is really a very useful instruction. Especially a beginner like me should keep it in mind considering it as sort of mandatory warming up also for feeling a partner and our mutual balance sense instead of starting a dance immediately with some various concrete figures. Many thanks!

so is it like opposing forces together , respecting each other body space and tension and beat ? or the leading role decides the momentum ?

Miss GoodM. , that's very beautifully said , I like soft leading and to be mutually attentive n caring in dance , it's still a human form of connection ... I like it to be mindful and not just doin the " moves ... but the topic is brilliant ... thank you

d. missgoodmorning_ yeahyeah I watched a few of their dancing videos like you don’t care and thought it was very naturally American Cuban salsa so it was a surprise to learn by the end of this teaching salsa video that they are native German. And btw positive surprise : )
