So good! So so good! What Synth engine are you using on Tape 1 and how did you manage to detune so amazingly

That is actually a sample of a loop I created in Renoise with the free VST Tyrell N6! The bass and lead were synthesized on the OP-1 using the Cluster and FM engines.

I also keep coming back to this tune just to listen, figured I'd finally comment. This was one of the videos that finally got me off the fence to buy an OP1, interesting to watch it now after having owned one for a while and most of your moves actually makes sense to me now! Just wondering how you are sequencing your drums, the second loop sounds almost too intricate to be finger, is it finger or pattern?

Ian thanks for listening and the thoughtful comment. I programmed the intricate drum line in Renoise and sampled it into the OP-1. There is additional drum layering from the OP-1 drum sampler.

Thank you! The detuned synth you hear in the very beginning is sampled from Tyrell N6, a free VST. But to answer your question you can do some detuning on the OP-1 by hitting SHIFT+METRONOME.
